Installation
Star Planet app is not available in all countries. See below alternative ways of installing the app on your device:
Allow unknown apps
Go to Device Settings / More security settings / Install unknown apps. Turn on the permission for your browser of choice.
Download APK file
Go to a site such as APKPure and download the APK file for
Star Planet. You might get a warning about the file type, click Ok to continue.
Install APK file
Locate the downloaded file in your Downloads folder or the notification bar. Click on it to install. If you get prompted to allow installations from
unknown sources, refer to step 1.
Open the app
Once the app has finished installing, open it and use it normally. Note that you may be unable to make in-app purchases if you have installed the app through this method.
Change your Apple ID country / region to South Korea
Set up the account details
Since you need to use a real address and phone number, a trick that you can use is to select any random address in South Korea / phone number.
Download Star Planet normally
After changing your region, you should be able to download Star Planet like you would any other app.
Currencies
Heart Jelly
Heart Jelly is the free currency. It expires on the 16th of every month.
Obtaining Heart Jelly
Go to Store section
From the menu, tap Charge and select Free Charging.
Watch ads and use scratch cards
You can watch 10 ads per day for 5 Heart Jelly each. For scratch cards, watch 10 ads per day to get a chance to earn up to 100 Heart Jelly per
scratch card.
Star Jelly
Star Jelly is the premium currency, which has no expiration date and needs to be converted to Heart Jelly before use.
Obtaining Heart Jelly
Go to Store section
From the menu, tap Charge and select Paid Charging.
Buy Star Jelly
Select your desired package and purchase.
Voting
Star Planet is used to pre-vote and live vote for The Show. Pre-vote has no restrictions, whereas live vote is limited to five votes (500 Heart Jellies total) per account.
Pre-vote runs from Friday, 8PM KST to Monday, 2PM KST every week. The live vote is conducted during the live broadcast on Tuesday evenings from 6PM to 7PM KST. To see the upcoming voting periods in your own timezone, refer to the calendar.
How to vote
Go to the Early Vote page
From the home page, select Early Vote. If your layout looks different from what is pictured here, ensure the toggle is set to Default.
Select xikers
Scroll down and tap on the heart next to xikers’ name
Select the vote amount
Input the number of votes you’d like to cast. Votes cost 10 Heart Jelly each, and you can cast as many as you like, across as many accounts as you want.
Vote
Go to the Early Vote page
While The Show is live, select Live Vote from the home page. If your layout looks different from what is pictured here, ensure the toggle is set to
Default. Scroll down and tap on the heart next to xikers’ name
Vote
Input the number of votes you’d like to cast. Votes cost 100 Heart Jelly each.
